Mind of the Student (MOTS) gives young people the confidence to speak about their mental health.

Our approach ensures no student in school goes without essential training on mental health, which equips them with the knowledge, confidence and skills to recognise and address their own mental health needs.

Our programme includes a whole-school workshop day on mental health, the Change Makers and Youth Committee.

How our workshop programme works

Step 1: Register your interest

Complete our registration form on behalf of your school. We will then get in touch with you to arrange a pre-programme call which will cover expectations from you/us and next steps.

Please note: We are currently prioritising schools which are located in areas with higher levels of deprivation in London, the Home Counties, Sussex, Manchester, Newcastle and Cheshire.

Step 2: Whole-School Workshop

Our whole-school workshop day – co-designed by teachers, health care professionals, young people and parents – cover topics on depression, anxiety, social media pressures and exam stress.

Benefits for young people

  Gain essential self-help skills

Step 3: Change Makers

The Change Makers are our follow on initiative aimed at continuing the conversation on mental health once we have left the school. Find out more below…
