We are pleased to announce the release of our latest annual report and accounts for Mind of the Student (MOTS).
The past year has been a transformative period for MOTS, as reflected in our 2023-2024 Annual Report. Over the last 12 months, we delivered vital mental health support to 30,306 young people across 33 schools.
Our workshops, supported by partners such as the Goyal Foundation, focused on empowering students with the knowledge, confidence, and skills to navigate their mental health challenges.
Key achievements include launching the Young Listeners Programme, which trains students in active listening to support their peers, and introducing creative mental health initiatives like Inner Canvas art therapy. Additionally, our first annual fundraiser, STEPUP4 Mental Health, successfully raised £5,000, deepening community engagement in our mission.
Our work continues to address the pressing mental health needs of young people, especially those facing isolation and deprivation. By normalizing mental health conversations in schools, we aim to break the stigma and create a more compassionate, supportive environment.
As we look ahead to 2024-2025, we are excited to expand our reach, develop new programmes, and enhance our digital presence to ensure no young person feels alone in their mental health journey.
