As the Co-Founder and Director of Mind of the Student, I’m excited to announce that from August 22, 2024, we’re launching a text-to-speech (TTS) feature on our website, powered by GSpeech.
TTS will convert written content into spoken words, ensuring that our resources are accessible to those with visual impairments, learning difficulties, or other disabilities that make reading challenging. This feature is a crucial step toward fostering inclusivity, allowing everyone to engage with our online content in a way that meets their needs.
Part of our mission is to break down barriers to mental health support, and this TTS feature is part of our broader effort to ensure equal access to our programmes. We’re proud to be leading the way in promoting digital accessibility and look forward to the positive impact this will have on the young people that access our website and services.
